    Hi Suzanne,
Like you I am enjoying my funded holiday. At the moment I have just made a list of all my cancelled appointments and inform them that I will be in touch as soon as restrictions are lifted. Many are just routine of course, and others require more care. Any emergencies that arise I see ASAP.
I think what I will do when we are able is to prioritise patients to be seen in order of need.
I don’t really think there is anything else we can do.
What I do know is I’m not really looking forward to it.
All the hard work put in getting patients patients to a manageable stage will be in done and will have to start from square one again.

    Morning,
Interesting read. So if a patient has PAD and presents with IGN but the PAD isn’t chronic or critical but has already been diagnosed prior to seeing us. We shouldn’t touch it and refer on. Is that correct or is it only for chronic cases?

    Thanks for the warning Julie.
I guess some people would be fooled by the call. Does the telephone preference service charge to be on their register?

    Hi Suzanne,
Did you get an answer to this question? I haven’t registered with the ICO either. I would like to know if it is a legal requirement also.

I am involved with general footcare. Myself and my 3 partners have a clinic near Harrod’s in Knightsbridge. Our clinic has been there for 27 years so we must be doing something right. We are so busy.
So what is a Medicolegal podiatrist? Do you have to look in to cases where someone is being sued? Give your opinion in court etc?
I missed the AGM this year sorry to say I was sunning myself on a beach in Jamaica. I usually go though.
    Thank you for replying
