For instance, the soft tissue under the forefoot or heel may lose its padding, leading to joint pain (Metatarsalgia). Similarly, toe joints can develop bony prominences that contribute to corns and ulcers due to friction. In such cases, tissue fillers act as an internal cushion, helping to alleviate pain and prevent further damage for several months.
