Members: £395, NON-Members: £450 Maximum 12 delegates The noted anatomist D.G. Metheny, MD. LRCP. LRCS(Edin). LFPS(Glas), author of one of the early 20th century's leading dissection manuals said; "Anatomy that has merely been memorised is only of service in passing examinations ........to be of real service, anatomy must be remembered not only by the mind, but also by the eye and hand which should simultaneously be trained in the recognition of the appearance, shape, texture, relative size and relative position and other peculiarities of the many various structures of the human body" About the Course This modern dissection workshop for podiatrists will allow participants to dissect human feet and ankles in one of the UK's leading medical dissection suites under the guidance of the course leaders. The superb facilities have individual dissection stations that include video displays at each station which link to the course leaders dissection table and main video display, thus allowing ongoing real time video guidance of their own efforts which are further supported by the roving tutor. Delegates will work in pairs to a foot and ankle, which during the course of the day they will be guided to comprehensively dissect. The sum total of the days activities will revolutionise delegates understanding of the internal and functional structure of the human foot and ankle in ways that external anatomy - and even scanning and imaging simply cannot. Prior to this course, on 7th November, we will be holding an Incisional Nail Surgery course from the same venue.
