Japanese technology inventors Cerevo, have launched Taclim – The world’s first virtual reality (VR) shoes and gloves– at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
This cutting edge technological device uses haptic feedback via 3 tactile device components located in each shoe and a further 2 components in the gloves, to simulate sense in the virtual world. Its users can experience the feel of the grass they walk on, the sand or water rippling under their feet a VR world. Taclim also works as an input device to control the character and reflect the motion of the player in the virtual world to increase the feeling of immersion.
